Where is the main courtyard in Fallout 3?

If by Main Courtyard, you mean The Mall (where Washington Monument is and what not) It's north of Rivet City, which is located in the bottom right corner of your Map. It's kind of annoying to reach that area because you have to go through some Metro stations to get there.
